So, life has been pretty hectic lately and though I won’t go into details, it certainly has been a trying period for my new year. Some days I woke up feeling like it was the worst day ever and some nights you couldn’t even sleep well to get to wake up. We all have those moments and wonder ‘Why me?’ It’s hard, really, to come to the realization that it’s not ‘just you’ that feels cursed and just can’t go another step. But, it’s also important to find the strength to keep on going, doing your daily routine, finding pleasure and comfort in every day things that remind you that life goes on and life is, indeed, good!
I apologize for not being able to blog like I had promised. While I made it through some rough patches, my brain was simply too tired to find the words to share with you any of my culinary creativity.
I want to thank you all who have followed my blog and taken the time to read it and have been patient as I find my rhythm. I look forward to sharing more wonderful things with you, be they food for the body or food for our minds.
